Price pleads not guilty in computer theft case
UConn guard A.J. Price pleaded not guilty Tuesday to larceny charges stemming from the theft of four laptop computers from a campus dormitory, according to published reports.
Price and junior guard Marcus Williams, who was also arrested in the case and applied earlier this month for an accelerated rehabilitation program, have been suspended indefinitely from the Huskies basketball team by coach Jim Calhoun.

If Williams is accepted for the program for first-time offenders, and he successfully completes the program, his criminal record would be expunged.
According to the report, Price said nothing in court and allowed his attorney, Michael Devlin, to enter the not guilty plea.
Price has been charged with three counts of felony larceny and a misdemeanor count of making a false statement to police. Williams faces four counts of felony larceny.
Williams should be considered one of the top point guards in the 2005-06 college basketball season after averaging 9.5 points and almost eight assists last season and playing on the U-21 World Championship team this summer in Argentina.
Price has not been medically cleared to play after suffering an intracranial hemorrhage in October. Price is due back in court Sept. 27 and Williams is due Sept. 13.
