2023 Pennsylvania DE Brandon Kelley commits To UConn
UConn football landed yet another commitment from DE Brandon Kelley after he announced his pledge to the Huskies recently.
Kelley told the UConn Report that he knew Storrs, CT would be his future home after touring the facilities, talking with players and staff and seeing the bright future of the program during his official visit on June 17th.
The Huskies staff showed him more love than any other school and that was also a big factor in his commitment. Kelley has built a great relationship with Defensive Line Coach Kenny McClendon during his recruitment.
He stands at 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds with an 82 inch wingspan. Kelley runs track as well (100m, 200m, 4x100m) and he mentioned it has helped a lot with football as his 40-yard dash time has improved to 4.5 seconds.
Kelley should fit pretty well with his speed and physicality. Not to mention he has the physical tools to make an impact pretty early for the Huskies defense.
