UConn Football picks up transfer DB Mumu Bin-Wahad from West Virginia

UConn Football has landed their fourth transfer of the offseason as former West Virginia defensive back Mumu Bin-Wahad announced his commitment to the Huskies on Thursday night.

The 5-foot-10, 179-pounds defensive back is joining the Huskies after spending one season with the Mountaineers.

As a member of the class of 2022, Bin-Wahad was ranked as a 5.6, three-star recruit which also slotted him as the No. 63 cornerback in the country and the No. 70 overall prospect in the state of Georgia for his recruiting class.

During his time at West Virginia, he appeared in four total games for the Mountaineers, mostly as a reserve and on special teams.

Bin-Wahad has four years of eligibility remaining to play for the Huskies.
