UConn Football has its 13th verbal commitment, this one from Caleb Thomas, a defensive tackle from Texas who figures to play nose guard for the Huskies. He chose UConn over offers from Army and Nevada. He also had interest from Rice, Southern Miss, and Texas.
Thomas seems to have made a visit this past weekend. It has now led to four commitments for Randy Edsall's staff since joining. He is the first defensive lineman and seventh defender in the class.
