PA RB ready for UConn junior day

Junior running back Daiqwon Buckleyof Dunmore, Pa. enjoyed a very successful season both personally and for his team during the fall of 2012. Now he is turning his attention to his recruiting process, and recently decided that he will attend the upcoming junior day at UConn.
"I wanna see the facilities, meet the coaches and some players and I would like to learn the requirements for their school," said Buckley, who is 5-foot-11 and 217 pounds.

Buckley acknowledges that he does not know a great deal about the school or program at this point, but is eager to gather more information. He has already spoken to Coach Hank Hughes about the Huskies.
"I think he's a nice guy," said Buckley. "He knows what, and what not to look for."
Besides UConn, Buckley is also claiming early interest from Rutgers, Pittsburgh and Michigan State. To this point, he has only taken a visit to Rutgers, where he went to for a summer camp last year and also a game during the fall.
After his upcoming visit to UConn, Buckley also mentioned that he would like to take a closer look at Pittsburgh, Penn State and Michigan State at some point this year.
During his junior season, Buckley rushed for approximately 1,800 yards and 23 touchdowns.
"I did the best I could. I improved 100% from my sophomore year," said Buckley. "I made all-state running back, all-league running back and my team made it to the state semifinals."
