Fatukasi looks back at his visit

A number of UConn commitments have taken official visits during the last two weekends, one of which was defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi of Rockaway Park (N.Y.) Beach Channel. Fatukasi was eager to get back on campus, and the visit did not disappoint.
"The whole visit was great," said Fatukasi. "I met all the players, met my soon to be teammates, and when I saw the game it was such a great atmosphere. All the recruits and UConn players went out and everyone is cool. I had a great time."

Hosting Fatukasi on his official visit was Angelo Pruitt.
"He is a beast on the field and is such a great dude off the field," said Fatukasi, 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds. "He was a really cool guy."
Fatukasi spent a portion of his weekend better familiarizing himself with the UConn coaching staff.
"I had great conversations with Coach Wholley, Don Brown, Hank Hughes, Coach Pasqualoni and other coaches," he said. "All of them were treating me as if I was already on the team officially."
And while the Huskies lost their season finale against Cincinnati, Fatukasi was impressed with what he saw.
"I mean the offense can use a little work, but the defense was great, especially the defensive line," he said. "I can't wait to be a part of that core defense."
