Bradley excited for move

It has long been known that UConn commit Dhameer Bradley of Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy will be starting his career as a Husky in January, but before he makes that move he had one more chance to check out the school a little closer last weekend.
"It was fun," said Bradley. "I really enjoyed myself and I can't wait to be there in January."

A number of things stood out during the weekend for Bradley, who had already taken several unofficial visits.
"The game, being with the players, hanging out and the food was great," he said. "The coaching staff were great hosts too. We talked all weekend and it was good."
As Bradley mentioned, despite the loss to Cincinnati, he still came away impressed with what he saw on Saturday.
"It was a good game, they just fell short on a few plays," he said.
Hosting Bradley during the weekend was Shakim Phillips.
"He was great," said Bradley. "He's real down to earth and I felt like he was like a mirror image."
Taking his official visit so close to his actual move to Storrs made Bradley even more eager to make it official.
"I'm ready," he said. "More than ever. I'm ready to play ball."
With Bradley preparing to make his move to UConn in a month, UConnReport.com will continue to check back with other members of the Class of 2013 as National Signing Day approaches.
