Awesome visit for Jasudowich

Three-star linebacker Cory Jasudowich of Cheshire (Conn.) Academy flipped his commitment from Boston College to UConn last month, after deliberating on the issue for a few months. This past weekend he returned to Storrs for his official visit, which game him the opportunity to prove to himself that he had made the right decision.
"It was absolutely amazing," said Jasudowich. "I loved every second I was there."

The 6-foot-2, 235-pounder discussed his highlights from the weekend.
"Just the fact that I was able to be on campus with the coaches and that I was able to see where I was going to be for five years of my life were my highlights," he said.
His interaction with his future teammates and the coaching staff also stood out for Jasudowich.
"The players were super nice and I can't wait to be a part of the team," he said. "Speaking with the coaches was awesome too. They told me where I was going to be and how I would fit right into the team."
Jasudowich explained how the UConn coaching staff plans to use him on the field.
"I will be in one of the middle linebacker spots, which I'm very excited about," he said.
Joining Jasudowich on his visit were both of his parents.
"They both were just as happy as I was with the school and the staff," he said. "Both my mom and dad looked at me and said that the school was going to be a perfect fit."
With the visit behind him and National Signing Day approaching, Jasudowich will now refocus his efforts.
"Right now I'm just training hard, keeping my speed up, staying in shape and keeping my grades up," he said.
