On Thursday morning, UConn Football head coach Randy Edsall tweeted out the Huskies bat signal along with the hashtag BL22DBLUE, which means that the program received a new verbal commitment in the class of 2022.

A few hours later, Florida defensive tackle Timothy Passmore Jr. announced via social media his decision to join the UConn football program.

“I chose to commit to UConn because of the culture they are building,” Passmore Jr. told Storrs Central. “Everybody gets along very well up there, they run a great program and on top of it all they play a tough schedule every year.”
