As a member of the class of 2018, Eldridge was unranked as a recruit. He hailed from South Fayette High School down in McDonald, Pennsylvania. In the end, Eldridge chose the Spiders over eight other offers from the likes of Albany, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, James Madison and Robert Morris.

During his five years with Richmond, he appeared in 37 total games all while tallying 71 total tackles (33 solo), 10.5 tackles for loss, 6 sacks and 1 pass deflection.

Eldridge has one year of eligibility remaining to play for the Huskies.
