Class of 2024 Cardinal Hayes guard Elijah Moore had been eagerly anticipating a stage of this magnitude, and a prove-it performance of this type.

Moore, the 6-foot-5 off guard and deadeye shooter who recently rattled off UConn, Syracuse, and Mississippi State as the programs recruiting him the hardest, exploded during a 32-point performance in Hayes' thorough 85-51 throttling of Pinkston (TX) in Dallas on November 25.Moore kick-started the scoring onslaught for Hayes, scoring 24 points and hitting on nine of his first 11 shot attempts (including 6-for-8 from 3-point range) during the game's opening 16 minutes.

Arguably the best shooter in the country and during a performance that solidified his status as the best 3-point shooter in the 2024 class, Moore was 8-for-12 from 3-point range.

"I've just got a chip on my shoulder," said Moore, who will visit Oklahoma this weekend. "This season is going to be a movie. We will start off decent but eventually get better."
