The Huskies are on a roll recruiting right now and they continued this by securing a commitment from in-state defensive back Chris Hudson.

He plays his high school football at St. Thomas More in Oakdale, CT. Hudson chose UConn over Old Dominion, Sacred Heart, Holy Cross, and Monmouth.

Hudson knew for a while he wanted to be a Husky and the unofficial visit in May really sealed the deal as he saw everything he needed to see. He plans to get back on campus for an official visit soon.

He described his relationship with the coaches as comfortable saying they feel like a family and can talk freely.

The way he plays fits in with the UConn style well. He would likely be a nickel corner which can help him use his 4.3 (40-yard dash time) speed and aggressiveness to his advantage. He guards well and plays well in run support. On top of his great play, he has a great mentality as he is ready to give it his all and try and get in your head every snap.
