UConn Football WR Darius Bush enters transfer portal
UConn Football wide receiver Darius Bush has announced his intentions to enter his name into the transfer portal when the open period begins on December 5th.
The 5-foot-9, 181-pound prospect appeared in four games with the program before redshirting the 2021 season. He also will have four year of eligibility to play elsewhere.
The former two-star recruit hails from Savannah, Georgia and signed with the Hukskies over 22 other offers from Akron, Central Michigan, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Navy and various others.
In year one with the program back in 2020, Bush didn't appear in any games as the Huskies cancelled their entire season due to the pandemic. The following year in 2021 Bush appeared in four games, preserving his redshirt status and then in 2022, Bush appeared in one game this season versus Michigan and hasn't seen the field since.
Bush will enter the portal on Dec. 5th with three years of eligibility remaining.
