UConn Basketball freshman forward Yarin Hasson has entered the transfer portal today with three years of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-9, 205-pounds Israel native appeared in 11 games with the program this past season and only attempted one shot along with one rebound and one block.
Hasson was previously committed to the University of Denver before flipping to UConn very late in the process back in August of 2022 and enrolling with the program shortly after that.
With lots of depth in the frontcourt this past season, it isn't too shocking that Hasson played limited minutes in the 2022-23 season. On top of that, the Huskies also adding several other talented high school prospects as well, so it makes sense for Hasson to go elsewhere to get playing time.
