Three-Star WR Zack Drawdy talks UConn commitment

UConn Football landed one of their top targets in the class of 2023 recently when three-star WR Zack Drawdy announced his commitment to the Huskies.

Drawdy is listed as a 6-foot-2, 185-pound wide receiver who plays his high school ball down in Yulee, Florida.

“As soon as I left the facility, I called my dad and told him to go to the store and get an air horn for me,” Drawdy told The UConn Report. “When I got home, I called Coach (Jim) Mora and blew the horn through the phone.”

Now Drawdy has already built a strong bond with the Huskies staff as they would talk with each other multiple times per week.

In the end, Drawdy chose UConn over schools such as Charlotte, Colorado State, Kentucky, South Florida and a few others.

RIVALS REACTION….

Now what is UConn getting in Drawdy? He plays with a lot of passion and appears always ready for the ball whenever they call his name. Overall he’s a very talented receiver who doubles as both a shifty route runner as well as a deep threat too. Overall this is a very good get for the Huskies.
