Stapleton looks back at his visit

UConn commit Cameron Stapleton of Brooklyn (N.Y.) Poly Prep was originally scheduled to take his official visit to Storrs this coming weekend, but adjusted it recently to move it up to last weekend. The move did not take away any of the highlights for Stapleton, who is excited about his upcoming move to UConn.
"It was great," said Stapleton. "I loved it."

Stapleton gave some more insight on the highlights from the weekend.
"Just the hospitality that everyone had was great and reminded me of my present school right now," said Stapleton. "Also, I believe they have ten different dining halls, and most campuses don't have that!"
Hosting Stapleton during the weekend was offensive lineman Andreas Knappe.
"He was really cool and the rest of the team basically accepted me, which was great," said Stapleton. "Even kids who didn't play football, but were friends with the football guys, wanted to know if I was starting school this semester. It was a great experience."
His time with the coaching staff also left a lasting impression.
"The coaches were great," he said. "I couldn't say anything that I didn't like."
Stapleton's family, which included his mother, father and two brothers, also enjoyed their weekend.
"They loved the area around UConn and were in love with the campus," said Stapleton.
