NH RB will camp at UConn

Running back Saikou Bah was one of a large group of recruits who made their way to UConn for the annual spring game. UConnReport.com spoke to Bah about the experience and a follow-up visit he received from the UConn coaching staff.
"The visit was good," said Bah. "We sat in the press box and I talked to Coach Cummings about the offensive line and the offense. He talked to me about my film and what he liked about it. He told me he was going to visit and keep in touch."

Bah, 5-foot-10 and 192-pounds, shared his thoughts on the actual spring game.
"I thought the defense was very aggressive," he said. "The offense had a clear winner at quarterback and they will have a new starter under center. The offense seems to lack a legit receiving threat and the running game was unspectacular. It's evident that this will be a defensive team."
As Bah mentioned, Coach Cummings was planning to check in on him at his school. This visit happened earlier this week with his coach.
"They wanna see me get bigger and stronger, but I'm definitely on the radar with some other guys," he said.
In the meantime, Bah discussed the overall status of his recruiting process.
"UMass likes me a lot and their running back coach wants to work with me hands on and if everything goes well at their camp I will get an offer," said Bah, who will also attend camps at UConn and New Hamphire.
When it finally comes time to choose a school, Bah has a few things he hopes to find.
"Early playing time or the possibility of it, an importance put on graduating because I don't believe football is forever and proximity to home," he said.
UConnReport.com will continue to stay in touch with Bah to see how his recruiting process moves along in the coming months.
