Marchi reacts to coaching change

As news rolled in this morning that Coach Pasqualoni had been let go by UConn, the Class of 2014 began to react. One of these was quarterback Logan Marchi, who discussed the situation with UConnReport.com
"Well as a recruit and being a commit to a school and a coach it's a disappointment when the coach you thought was gonna be there for your next four years is gone and you have to start all over," said Marchi. "I was very comfortable with the coaches there and right now it's a just a waiting process on the whole situation."

Marchi mentioned that he last spoke to the coaching staff after the Michigan game, which he attended, and that he has not really been hearing from other schools since his commitment.
Overall he is just taking the entire situation in stride.
"I mean I've never been in this situation before obviously so I don't know exactly how to approach this situation," he said.
Marchi, 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, also mentioned that he has maintained contact with a few of the other UConn recruits in this class, but with the news so fresh he has yet to talk to any today.
UConnReport.com will continue to check in with Marchi and the rest of the commitments to gather their reactions.
