JUCO LB Sterling commits to UConn

UConn landed another commitment today as Mesa Community College (Mesa, Az.) Linebacker Sterling Santana offered up his verbal pledge while on campus for an official visit the past couple days. Santana, originally a class of 2014 recruit out of Hamilton High School (AZ) claimed offers from Arizona State, Cornell, Northern Arizona, and Pennsylvania before opting to go the JUCO route.

Last season at Mesa CC, he accumulated 105 total tackles, one sack, one fumble recovery, and one interception. He has three years remaining to play two. Stay tuned as we will have more on Sterling shortly!
