Another offer for PA DB

Several new offers have gone out in Pennsylvania recently, as the UConn coaching staff makes their way from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia. Another player who recently picked up an offer was Rasaan Stewart of Collegeville (Pa.) Perkiomen Valley.
After some interaction with Coach Matt Cersosimo, Stewart found out about his UConn offer on Monday night.

"He said he would show my film to the head coach and that he would get back to me or my coach," said Stewart. "He just wanted to evaluate what type of person I was. So that night, my head coach Scott Reed texted me and told me that they offered."
Stewart has become a hot recruit in the region, picking up several offers in the last month. So what are his thoughts about the Huskies now that they offered?
"They have a good academic history and I think that's important," he said. "The football team is on the rise so that's good. I don't know too much, but I'm looking forward on getting more information on UConn."
Stewart is being recruited as either a safety or slot receiver by the Huskies.
"I prefer the position that gets me on the field faster and helps the team more," he said.
Now with the offer, Stewart is thinking about taking a visit to Storrs.
"I'd have to discuss things with my parents and see what their schedule looks like first, but I don't see why I wouldn't," said Stewart, who mentioned a few other possible visits. "Boston College, Georgia Tech, Rutgers and Old Dominion are ones I'd like to check out."
Stewart has already taken recent visits to Pittsburgh, Temple, UMass and Villanova.
UConnReport.com will continue to stay in touch with Stewart to see how his recruiting process progresses and to see when he schedules a visit to Storrs.
