Guards Jerome Dyson and Donnell Beverly have been fully cleared to practice and play in games for UConn effective mid-day Friday, the school announced in a press release.

Dyson and Beverly were held out of Wednesday's exhibition victory over American International as a precautionary measure since documents pertaining to their eligibility for this season had not yet been received by the university.

Freshman Jamal Coombs-McDaniel, who was also held out of the game against AIC, has been cleared to participate in practice but not to play in games, the school also announced.

A four-star shooting guard from Tilton (N.H.), Coombs-McDaniel did not dress for the game and was not permitted to join his teammates on the bench.

Both Dyson and Beverly are expected to play in Sunday's exhibition against UMass Lowell. It will be Dyson's first appearance in a game since tearing the lateral meniscus in his right knee in a game against Syracuse in February.
