STORRS- The appetizers are done and it's time to begin the main course. After a 3-2 finish in non-conference play, in which they played well in spurts, UConn opens up Big East play against Rutgers Saturday at High Points Solutions Stadium in Piscataway, NJ.

For its Big East home opener, Rutgers is planning a 'blackout' in which the Scarlet Knights will debut their new black uniforms and the fans will don black tee-shirts. On Thursday afternoon, Rutgers posted on its website that only 2,000 tickets remained in a stadium with a capacity of more than 52,000.
